So my biggest unanswered question is, these are being called CHIMES, right? So DO they make sounds? As a “shape”, Globes don’t have many resonant nodes, so they are unlikely to “tinkle”, “clang”, or, uh, “chime”… so, which is it?

I bought 3 sets of these (6 total). I gave 4 away for Christmas gifts and kept 2 for me. I love them! They don’t make much sound but that’s ok by me. I love the changing colors. As, their customer service is amazing. The bottom half of one of my globes fell off. I took a picture and emailed the company. A few days later I received a new chime in the mail. A big thumbs up!
