I think I must be missing something…I see this same tablet available for purchase on Samsung’s site, brand new (as far as I can tell), for $5 less (with free shipping). Why would anyone buy this refurbished one for more money, instead? What am I missing that would make this make sense?
Samsung’s site is constructed in a pointlessly deceptive way. Please check if the price when you put into cart (without need to buy) is with a trade in. I was initially enticed by a similar “price” on a competing aggregating sales ads site. It turns out to be click bait by Samsung. The price difference was so large, it was a major turnoff and made me slightly mad at them. Indeed I later bought a very good condition used Apple Air 2 from Woot instead. Slightly faster and almost 1/2 thinner. Though that had major problems with not removed restrictive school software locking me out of VPN and other needed features.
