The “hood” doesn’t stand up on its own too well.
We have been discussing this bed over on Unimpressed Pets, if you want more photos and use opinions. The bar on mine has been fine, after it relaxed the shipping bend; but @Wooter825352529 has had the same issue as you with it not staying up as well…
The plastic “hose” for the top on mine kept slipping out, so for now I have given up - but all my pups have taken the ones I bought for a snooze ages 4 months to 10 years. They all love them. I bought 3, but only opened 2 so far, but 2 pups chill together on each one.
Maybe it’s the size…? I have the smaller one, and I think you have the larger?
Maybe the bar/hose has more issues supporting itsself on the larger beds, because of the extra weight and span?
