Dell Optiplex 3050 Micro i5-6400T Desktop

Dell Optiplex 3050 Micro i5-6400T Desktop

I purchased this, and there is no wifi avialable on it as stated in the description.

Now in the process of returning it. Bummed as I was looking forward so this.

My Dell Optiplex 3050 arrived with an after-market power supply, and the BIOS puts up a warning “The AC power adapter wattage and type cannot be determined. The system will adjust the performance to match the power available.”

The CPU will only run at 0.79 GHz!

:frowning:

Yes, Dell computers do validate the power adapter for proper wattage. One of my HP desktops also does the same with non-spec adapters. If it can’t be determined, it will only run at the lowest power. This is done for safety, as an overloaded adapter is just trouble in the making.
