Can’t beat this price!
I missed the deal for the Kid’s Paperwhite for $119 had to get this.
I own this model (bought it new right after it was released) – a sturdy little unit. I use it very regularly and, though the UX annoys me now and then, I’d buy it again.
Anyone know if these are ad-free?

A: ALL Kindles are “ad free”! There are book references and some book advertising on the default stand-by screen, but NOTHING else. It does not interrupt your usage or reading with any sort of advertising.

How many LEDs in it? Does it have adjustable warm light?
Lovely. Are these ad free? Yes, except for the ads. SMDH.
5 LEDs. In terms of “warmth”, here’s what I found from the original Amazon listing Q&A:
Q: Is the back light color warm white (yellow) or cold white (blue)?
A: Between these 2 options, it looks more like warm white. I’d call it kinda off-white, but whatever shade you call it, the light’s perfectly easy on the eyes. No more eye aches for me!
You can ask Amazon to remove the ad through customer service. I did this a few years ago.
