Wish the plugs were low profile.

I bought these to help with that problem.

It’s a very good price for what they are. Power strips with modest surge protection and decent amp rating. The Woot description is honest and should be heeded. Says it is for "small appliances, phones, and lamps."

If you are trying to protect delicate electronics and expensive components of an audio visual system, you will need to spend much more for ideally triple the amount of joules and nanosecond clamping times.

If you spent hundreds of dollars for an HDTV, router, or other equipment, spending $40 to $60 for surge protection with line filter is just good insurance. That can prolong life of your equipment for over a decade. Found out off the hard way with a sump pump causing an early computer to have a fried motherboard.

Thank you. I tried to avoid adding additional “extension” cords into the mix, but for this low of load it’ll probably be fine.
