Could someone from Woot clarify this listing? Note that:

  • the title specifies “96 Count”
  • the size is “12 Count (Pack of 3)” which is 36
  • and the description states “6 packs of 16 count; total 96 count”

The last time ordered this there was an issue with the quantity received. Note that we can currently buy a 36-pack for ~$26 on Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07X3XDJT9/) so I’m trying to order this again in the hopes that I’ll actually receive the promised quantity of 96, as $52/36 is not even remotely a deal at Woot’s listed price.

Sorry about that. It’s 96 pods. Should be good now.

Welp, I only got 72 pods (6 boxes each containing a dozen.) I’m going to contact customer support right after this, but I thought I’d let you know that it happened again.

There’s definitely been some confusion regarding this product, but I think I can help if you can relay the information so that it’s correct next time. So I just discovered this Dolce Gusto pod system recently, but it’s apparently been around for nearly 20 years. :person_shrugging:

Anyways, these Starbucks-branded pods come in boxes of 12, while non-co-branded Nescafe pods come in slightly larger boxes of 16, which is where I think the miscommunication is originating. I can’t be sure each product didn’t come in different packages sizes in the past, which is why I mentioned my relative unfamiliarity with the system, but every time I’ve ordered the Starbucks-branded pods (from Woot or Amazon) they’ve been in boxes of 12.

As you can see from the attached photo, the Starbucks pods on the left are (6+6) and the non-Starbucks ones are (8+8):

I think somebody at Woot might’ve been aware of this, because they priced the item at $52, which as I mentioned is what they go for on Amazon for that exact quantity. That wouldn’t be a deal worth purchasing though, because you could just buy them from Amazon directly for the same price per unit, but at half the quantity if desired which would give you a little more flexibility. Regardless, nobody made sure the quantity on the listing(s) was correct.

Thanks for the info. I’ve already passed it on to our buyer!
