Only a 6 cup capacity? And are those “coffee cups” of 6oz or legit 8oz cups? Ive been bamboozled by that little discrepancy in the past. My biggest issue with most cold brew makers that I’ve seen is that they’re way too small! After tying four different solutions over the past few years, each costing dozens (and one costing over a hundred) of hard-earned greenbacks, I finally got fed up and bought a 3 liter Rubbermaid pitcher for $7. That’s 12 (8oz/legit) cups of cold caffeinated goodness at a time. I throw my grinds right in w/ the water and gently stir it daily. After it’s sat long enough to extract even the most reluctant of stimulant molecules, I strain through a reusable cloth filter into a second $7 pitcher. In my experience, the cheap-o cloth filters works way better than any metal mesh filter I’ve ever used, and are way more durable. I make two pitchers a week and I still end up buying the occasional coldy while on the go. Maybe I need to increase my at-home cold brew production, or maybe I already drink too much. Nah…
I still might get this because I brought my larger French press into work so I could enjoy freshly roasted hot coffee there and have been missing one at home ever since.
If it’s similar in capacity to the other cold brewer from Primula that’s in this sale, then it’s 6 legit cups. I have that other brewer, and it holds six 8oz cups.
