I love Miele products, they last. BUT, for this much money, I’d expect more than a 90 day Woot! warranty. Miele has this (free shipping for over $25) for $200 off currently and offers a 1 yr warranty. $1,649 & $200 off, $1,449. For a bit over $200 you can get the 5 yr warranty.

I guess it depends on your luck. I’d love to hear from anyone that has this machine for feedback.
While my Gaggia runs great, the best warranty possible is advisable for ANY high-end espresso machine. Pumps, pressure and corrosion are involved.
Ok, how the hell do you sell a brand new espresso machine with 90 days warranty? Are these gray market items? Can some volunteer mods check into this?
I could buy a manufacturer refurbished espresso machine on eBay and get 2 years of warranty; yet I have to deal with this 90 days woot warranty?
Woot cannot guarantee the manufacturer will honor the warranty (but you can try) and sometimes Woot can offer a better price if they carry the warranty.
If Woot cannot guarantee if the manufacturer can honor the warranty, shouldn’t that be made as a priority then, to reach out to Miele and find out? It seemed like Woot is making customers here to jump through hoops to spend over $1k on a product Woot sells.
Doesn’t work that way. We’re flipping the inventory from Amazon warehouses. Since we’re not the original reseller, Miele could say that we’re not an authorized reseller. That’s why we give a Woot warranty.
Fair to be uncomfortable with the warranty. Best to not buy it if that’s the case.
