I just looked at the tracking info for my last couple of Woot orders.
Argh…
It appears that Fedex is no longer delivering the parcels to my local post office (middle of nowhere, west coast of Michigan).
Instead, they are unloading them on the post office at New Berlin, WI – several hundred miles away (as the truck drives – a lot less as the seagull flies, but since the trucks don’t ford Lake Michigan…)
This provides exciting new opportunities for USPS to bend, fold, staple, mutilate, lose, steal, crush, drop, smash, and misdeliver our packages. (And a few more days with which to do it.)
I don’t know how to thank you, Fedex. (I mean, using language that won’t get me banned.)
