Minor nit: LED lights don’t have filaments.
Obviously the product description was cut-n-pasted from that of an incandescent bulb.
800 lumens is usually considered to be the equivalent of how many watts of incandescent?
Watts is actually a measure of power/energy used, not in light output; it can be expended in thermal energy (including infra-red) rather than visible light.
Now that the official explanation has been revealed, the industry standard for 800 lumens is equivalent to the output of a 60-watt incandescent bulb.
Ah, edison’s orignal LED bulb. truly a visionary.
Are these bulbs dimmable? The description doesn’t say anything about it
Specs do though.
Ah I see it now! Thanks so much! I always forget there’s sometimes a spec table listed
Do you think they could be shipped in a manner so that they will not arrive in little bitty pieces? Just received a big Woot envelope with a little box full of glass pieces that were once a light bulb. Not certain I am brave enough to order again.
Egads. Please use the Woot Customer Service form for assistance.
I’ve emailed the tools team to talk to the vendor about shipping. Maybe wait until tomorrow so we can work with them.
