These are nifty, and work great as shade structures around a folding chair (terrific for doing parking services at an event).
The main trick is there is a certain knack to folding them. Pay attention to the image that shows how, and practice a couple of times to get it right.

I was thinking this would be great at an event where you don’t want your neighbors to talk to you - wonder if they would let me use this while flying
