FYI, while the jaws on the clamps may be solid copper, the wire definitely is not. Its cheap copper-clad aluminum. A set of jumper cables made of 2 gauge solid copper cables costs about 3-4 times as much as these do, but have nearly 50% more ampacity. A pair of true 2 gauge copper jumper cables with the right clamps can handle 1200 amps of direct current. I would be very leery of putting 600A of current through these…

They may be fine for most cars, but dont use them for jumping trucks, tractors, diesel equipment or anything with a completely dead battery.
