lmaooooooo. Excellent write-up… still laughing.
let’s play… global thermonuclear war…
(i never learned to swim)
Not a bad price even though its an older model and refurbished. They were being clearanced out at some store for around $350. And refurbished is actually better than a new one cause its be throughly tested and its cheaper!
Refurb + TN Panel + No HDMI port + Crappy Brand @ $299?
No way woot,
At least try 250 or 200 will get eyes turning but at 300 this is a waste of money.
The only upside I guess is no tax and cheap shipping…
you can get a new 24" from newegg for this price. refurb no thanks
A newer one has a better warranty.
Golly. The Soviets have all of their aircraft carriers on dry land. If this had HDMI, I would pick it up for my son’s X Box.
Hear Hear!!
no big deal , walmart has them for 388.00
Wow, Nice job.
Lol on the quality posts.
Who writes that anyway.
Its not Dave is it?
I just got an Acer 24" at X-mas for 299 new after my rebate. Boo.
buy this and you may get it back…
Pricey woot, woot.
Soyo makes a 24" LCD monitor with 6ms refresh rate. I’m using it right now and I never experience lag or anything, comes with VGA and DVI cables. All for $299.99 from OfficeMax. Sweet deal. You can even buy a replacement plan, if it breaks you get a new one, with this… no. Acer monitor stands blow ass too, I don’t like them it feels very flimsy.
I just bought a 22" Acer from Tigerdirect.com for $179.99, so umm, gotta pass, lol. However, the one I got is an absolutely beautiful monitor. Great picture, wonderful for gaming, and arrived with no dead pixels. I’d say it looks better than the LG, Viewsonic, etc. that I looked at in the store at Best Buy when I was shopping around. But $299.99 for a refurb? Tisk tisk, woot.
They sold these brand new at microcenter.com for the same price six months ago. They have a store here in MN and i saw at least 30 of them in a big pile. Makes me really wish I had bought one. Refurbed monitors are risky business. No thanks.
When i saw the pic on screen i thought of “War games” too , is that what its from?
HDMI > DVI cables and adapters are pretty cheap and no quality is lost, it’s basically the same thing.
or not.
Can get a brand new one for $50 more at a local store…
