a refurb with vista instead of windows 7? hmm… pass

No, this doesn’t qualify for the windows 7 upgrade

How hot does this get? Will it burn my lap when it is working hard?

6 cell batteries last like… 2 hours? Maybe 3 hours?

Cmon Woot,
not another laptop!!

not a bad price, but…
Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD??

I’ll pass

I wonder if laptop qualifies for free Win 7 upgrade…

What GPU does this use?

waiting for a netbook

what’s the point of hdmi + hdcp outputs if the computer’s not powerful enough to decode 1080p video in the first place?

woulda bought if it wasnt fer no integrated vid card

I paid $600 about a year and a half ago for a 3gb ram, 160gb hdd gateway. i wish i had the money to blow because this baby would be all mine

Note that the touchpad is off place because of the numpad added on the right. Most laptops do not have the added numpad, which is a bummer, so it’ll definitely make up for the off-center touchpad.

I wish my laptop had a numpad that wasn’t operated via the Function key.

check

Integrated graphics? Yuck. Otherwise, very nice. I’ve always liked Acer’s tactile volume knobs.

I sold laptops and desktops for almost 2 years, and now I’m in IT, and IMHO, acer is a cheap brand to begin with.

I don’t know how many of them were returned with genuine problems. It was a noticeable amount when compared to the HP, Compaq, Dell, Sony and Lenovos that were getting returned.

Just a heads up.

very nice indeed, mainly for business. The battery last pretty well if you put it on power saver mode, and if your not doing too much on it at once it’s very fast.

inbuilt Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD.
