K&L had this and seemed to like it. Here are their notes:

K&L Notes
Larry Cherubino is one of the most highly regarded winemakers in Australia in fact he was recently voted (by his peers, the other top flight winemakers) into the current Top Ten Most Talented winemakers in the nation. He even won James Halliday’s coveted “Winery of the Year” in 2011. His “Ad Lib” range allows you to sample his winemaking talents at very affordable prices especially since we are buying these wines at importer direct pricing! The “Avant Gardening” bottle is Malbec (and some Cab, though it doesn’t say on the label) from a beautiful vineyard in Frankland River. I love Frankland River fruit for its amazing purity, elegance and freshness whilst having lovely soft, supple full bodied weight. The fruit here is from 17 year old vines, hand-picked, gently extracted to not get too much harsh tannin. The fruit is juicy and accessible; this is a really good everyday drinker with ample dark red fruit, violets, sweet spice and soft French oak nuances from the 2yr old barrels the wine is matured in. Another stellar value from Larry Cherubino thanks to our special direct pricing! (they had it for $7.99)

And from James Halliday:
94 pointsSpecial Value Selection…this is a seriously attractive medium-bodied, cool-grown wine with cedary tannins woven through the cassis and plum of the long palate. Outstanding value. Larry Cherubino has had a particularly distinguished winemaking career…the range and quality of his wine is extraordinary, the prices irresistible.(7/2014)

fwiw

Why does the winery info tab have Middleton Family Wines?

Looks like the importer is owned by them. From the Specs page: “Ad Lib is imported & distributed by Vintage New World, a Middleton Family Wines affiliated company”

There is a link to Larry Cherubino Wines on the Features page.

Sorry. Each winery must obtain a license from each state. The shipping states will vary from sale to sale. :frowning:
