Didn’t realize it was refurbished. It was cheap though and it does work but I’m glad I was getting it for myself and not for a gift. It’s scratched and part of the warming surface is broken in the corner. Box was open when I got it out of the shipping envelope.
It’s supposed to be new. Looks like it was damaged in shipment. make sure you reach out to Woot! Customer Service.
From a browser, use the Woot! Customer Service form.

Picture is deceiving, since written details say you cannot use both functions at the same time.
You can have a phone and mug on the item at the same time. Just can’t have the phone charging and the mug warming.
“Hey, let’s combine hot coffee with electronic devices! What could possibly go wrong?”
How about what can go right when we combine charging and a keeping a drink warm?!
