MEH, don’t need headphones. At least its not a breadmaker…

pretty decent brand

not a bad woot…$39-$120 on froogle…hope they go fast

These headphones drain the batteries FAST. My cousin has this model and I have one of a different brand. Both go through batteries very quickly.

Sorry to say this but I bought 3 of these when they came out and they have been a pain. The sound cuts in and out frequently. The connection to the charger is in an awkward spot. The top bar gets caught on low hanging branches. (Just kidding on that last one)

With that said. Everyone buy 3 so we can get to the next woot!

NiCad’s ??? What is this, the amateur hour. I would at least expect NiMH or Li-Lon’s for the short use that these are likely to get.

If anyone got these headphones last time, or gets them this time, could you do your fellow wooter a big favor and scan the upc for me?

I threw away the box and I need a copy (a scan is fine).

Send it to jlbarnes61830.at.y@hoo.com.

And yes, that is supposed to be changed to @yahoo.com

Thank you!

I got mine Tuesday, and they are crap. I let them charge for 24 hours, then hooked them up. There is nothing but static, and you can barely hear the source over the static. Crap Crap Crap…

I just got these a few days ago, charged up the batteries and tried it out. The sound isn’t very good, a little muddy. also if the transmitter is close to other devices like a computer, tv or speakers it will mess up the signal alot with a high pitched noise. But they do work and are tolerable, I like to listen to podcasts and recorded talk radio while I walk around the house and they are fine for that. Music isn’t great unless you use something like the built in EQ in itunes to boost the higher frequencies a bit. But hey, for the price they are pretty damn good. There are certainly better for 3-8x the price but these are a good quality to price ratio. Also the range isn’t as good as expected, “upto 150 feet” is correct. this phrase means anywhere between 0-150 feet range. I get good results within about 70 feet after that it will become unlistenable or cut out. Even one wall will add considerable degradation to the signal even though th description says they work through walls. I havn’t tried them in my apartment yet but I expect better results since the walls are so thin you can practically see through them.

Bottomline - if you want HI-FI sound these are not what you want, if you want cheap sounding headphones for a cheap price and want the ability to wander a short distance they are for you.

Pros- good price, work easy setup and use

Cons - muddy sound, around 70 feet of range, signal interference from electronics near transmitter

I’m pretty sure I got a defective charger, the green light doesn’t come on, anybody who has this, does your green light go on? this is my first order from Woot and could be my last

I had the same problem, if you read the manual though it says the unit doesn’t turn on unless you have plugged the headphones into the charging station or if its receiving a signal. Make sure you have put the batteries into the headphones the way it says to and charge them for at least 12 hours. wait for them to charge and then unplug them. Then when you have pushed the power button on the headphones a red light turns on on the phones. then send signal into the base sation, the station doesn’t turn on until it receives a signal. if it doesn’t turn on turn the source signal up more. then you should start hearing the crappy audio quality pumping out of the phones. GOOD TIMES.

If they still don’t work you can use the one year warranty for a free replacement.
