Aficionado 12-Bottle Stainless Steel Wine Cellar

Dear Woot, can you please photograph these things showing how different sized bottles fit? Champagne/sparkling tends to be larger diameter and sometimes doesn’t fit between the wire rack levels (vertically) on these more compact coolers.

Similarly, if they’re deep enough for taller bottles that would be good to know too.

Thank you.

sigh … only if it were tall enough to store my fermenting homebrew carboys in

If the fridge was filled with the Chronicle Zinfandel pictured I would buy 3 and gift 2 to my wife…

Why does the temperature gauge say 69 degrees? That’s not a good temperature for storing wine.

I suspect hijinks.

LOL… I was thinking the same exact thing and first thing I checked were the dimensions! Especially since each side can be controlled independently. Ale on one side… Lager on the other.

Bummer

I’m thinking that Woot! logo on those bags is probably copyrighted.

You won’t fit Champagne bottles or even some Pinot bottles in this thing. Longer bottles like those from Jana Winery do not fit at all. The shelves are non-adjustable. If you have mostly cab type bottles, you’ll be fine.

or it could be that the door it open

Nice one!

Shh! Don’t ruin it for me.

I bought one of these last time around, racks can be pulled out but can not be adjusted height wise. Its a tight fit for anything larger than the standard 750ml bottle. Also I have found that slender but taller bottles don’t fit very well.

Also any power outages and it resents to default temperatures

Almost bought this the last time it was offered. Instead I grabbed a 16 bottle Edgestar I got from Overstock for $126 including shipping. For my first wine cellar the one I got was fine. Probably depends how serious you are about wine, but for a beginner the one I got was more then adequate even without dual temp zones. Plus holds more bottles and that is very important when there is a wine woot off!

Although this was not approved by the FDA, I took a chance and so far there was no liability for our business. It does seem, however, insomuch as it seems, that the cord is suitably functional. The noise level us what one would hear when the unit is plugged in. It is mostly silent when unplugged. For those who are in the predicament of vermin, it is appropriate. While mannish in manner of speaking, it is not without merits, whereby due isolation from said vermin. My spirits are then duly within protection, and is thermally frigid with the formation of ice crystals. Twelve bottle libation is surely enough for all but the most celebratory of gatherings.

This thing stopped working less than a year after I bought it. I’ve been calling the company for the last year and a half trying to get it replaced. Worst Woot experience to date.
