Some good reviews, some bad reviews. Very tempting…

Reviews over at the Egg

I was going to pull the trigger until I saw the following two reviews:
“Installed the only firmware available on Buffalo’s web site when searching by model number, it was the non-DD-WRT firmware with very limited options. Contacted tech support and they stated that once that firmware had been installed, reverting to DD-WRT was impossible”

“The first time I had a power outage the router bricked”

No thanks. Too bad, price is good.

Took me about three minutes to find the DD-WRT firmware for this router on their web site.

I’ve switched back and forth between standard and DD-WRT on my current AirStation (not this model) and see no reason I couldn’t do that here, regardless of what an uninformed tech support worker told that reviewer.

Would this router support alot of devices ie…smart tv, 1 iPad 1 tablet 3 cell phones wireless printer I cloud storage Playstation and 2 laptops?
