If you buy this for the over the air DVR you must use the Sling app and sign up at the hidden url of AirTV Sign Up | Sling TV.
Once you do that and add an antenna it works great for watching over the air tv and recording. If you want the DVR feature you can just plug in an external USB hard drive.
Is there a subscription service this is tied to, to get the guide, or is the guide free.
I haven’t paid a dime to use AirTV and it does include a guide which is perfectly usable
