Keep in mind that for many of you your phones and/or smart watches may already offer this functionality.
I’m an emergency department nurse. People don’t even own thermometers, let alone a pulse ox.
Well, the people showing up to the ER definitely don’t own one—makes sense, lol
I have two of them, I think. I’m pretty sure I got one in a BOC but I’m not sure.
I also have three or four thermometers because I keep losing them. I kept finding them in random locations when I moved last year.
In other news, thank you for what you do. Nurses are incredible.
I give one to every patient or patient’s family member who tells me they don’t have one. A thermometer is the bare minimum someone needs to have at home, so I make sure to grab one for them.
And thank you for saying that. It’s been a ROUGH flu season, and all of us nurses are very, very tired right now.

Android has smart watches, I’m wearing one now. It does blood oxygen and many other things, as well.
