Not exactly true; in the specs it says,

“Auxiliary input jack for second device connection, including CD, DVD, and MP3 players (cable not included)”

So, it will play your device audio, but you may have to buy a cable to plug into the aux input jack, and it would not be charging your device.

Even though this is another dock. At least it reminds me of the old woot… when you could actually see the bar move instead of sit there for hours.
