Mids and highs will be much worse. Very common for low-end canalphones. It will sound muddy/muffled with good bass.
Agreed on comfort, though (if you like this type of earphone).

I prefer the pair I bought from the checkout lane at Wal-Mart, they were right by the 5 Hour energy and the single serve wet-naps

These are cheap junk the pair I bought from Woot had static right out of the box, plastic junk.
Decent for running or the gym. But then I fall into the ZZ Top group of “cheap headphones, sunglasses, and wallets.”

For woot #2 out of a fresh Wooter who always loses his headphones - even if they DO sound like compete crap, at this price I won’t miss them if I do lose one pair.

9mm drivers for earbuds is like 2" woofers for a speaker system. There’s no replacement for displacement.
