So, I could use the old Nintendo, Sega Genesis, GameCube cables…plug them into this and plug an HDMI into it and then plug the other end of the HDMI into my smart tv and play my old school games?
Not 100% sure why I was tagged here, but I agree with TT. The product for sale here is the opposite of what you’re looking for.
I’d assume you might use this product if you had an old TV and wanted to connect like a FireTV stick or something like that to it but it doesn’t have an HDMI port. Or, if all your HDMI ports are full, but you have this left over you could use it that way.
Also, I think HDMI carries some content protection signals (HDCP?), so not not sure if this would work if you were trying to connect a blu-ray player or something like that.
