Just to be clear: this is not compatible with my M1 MacBook no matter what OS I’m using?
This should be able to work with the M1 Apple devices (only one that I haven’t tried is my iPad Pro) - It does work very well with my M1 Mac Studio though. The only thing that won’t function exactly as intended is trying to use more displays than your MacBook can properly support, since that is dependent on your chip; Not the dock. But if you want to be able to easily connect several devices to the dock, and then just have a single cable and port used for the MacBook, then this should be just fine. I have an external drive attached to mine.
