1st Gen worth it still? We have a Dot and Spot… should we get a couple of these now that they have Multi-Speaker music capabilities?
Tested it on our current two and it worked well.
I got one a few weeks back when they had them on here. Huge mistake. Even though it looked new it would not register with the “mother ship”. Took days to get to the “send it back” stage even though I learning on day one that the error code meant that Amazon listed it as stolen or otherwise deactivated. Finally got Amazon to admit it was registered to someone else. They deactivated that person and activated my account, still not joy. Was forced to return it. BTW, I purchased two dots (hockey pucks) at the same time (also new) and they both registered without a hitch. I would buy this again to get the better speaker (no bass on the hockey pucks) but it is not worth getting another hopelessly locked re-firb.
