Hey I have been loyal to mine, it’s loyal to me. Sound quality is fine, it pairs well with my BT speakers if I need more umph. I just can’t give it up. I have the latest dot in my bedroom my my big ol’ Echo reins my living room and it’s my go to device. Works for me. I like the light notification when it waits for a command missing from my latest Dot.
Have had this original for 2 years or so. Works perfectly, sounds great, and still absolutely great. I would get this over a dot anytime, for the sound quality. I have both versions of Dots, plus the battery powered echo.
Me too. I won’t give it up. Dots are boring, this piece has personality. Long live 1st gen Echo.
