This is pretty tempting for the price but just how bad is Amazon’s “Used-Unacceptable”? Are we talking broken screen? Wifi doesn’t work? Or just really bad scratches and dents? Has woot done this kind of thing before?
Newer ones are not that expensive and stay away from the ones with special offers. In other words ADVERTISING. I made that mistake in the past.
Buyers beware! I received one that was tagged as stolen. When I couldn’t get it to register, Woot said contact Amazon and Amazon said contact woot. Why they don’t check for this when they’re refurbished, is beyond me! Ultimately woot did except the return, but it was a major headache and left me without a Christmas gift for my niece two days before Christmas. I ended up ordering a new one off Amazon anyway; For $25 more I bought a brand new device. I’ve had too many issues with electronics off woot, I won’t buy them anymore.
