Hello staff,
Amazon always asks me to login to buy an item everytime I try to purchase something. I’m already signed in on forums and on app.
How am I supposed to get an item which sells out in 30 seconds if every single time I need to sign in again ?
What’s the fix or work around here?
Hi there. That’s a known issue that unfortunately we don’t have a fix for. Amazon owns the login and payment code.

Good news is that everyone has the same issue.
@ThunderThighs is there any way at least to get the saved password back? Previously even if you had to log in the password either was saved or you could access it with your saved passwords/biometrics. Recently that stopped so you actually have to type it in manually which when they are long and complex can be difficult and very time consuming!
That’s not something we control. That’s either from Amazon or the os on the device.
Ok thanks must be Amazon as it still works for other apps.
If you are on Android & don’t mind being in the Google world you can have Google passwords save yours & it’s only 1 extra tap when you sign in. That’s how mine is set up anyway. Check your phone’s settings in the password area.
Thanks i am and do have it saved and it used to let me just tap like you say but not for past few weeks… manual type in only. Ty though!
It’s still working for me. Just tried it. Signed out then back in. You might have unchecked something in your settings like do not auto fill for this (or Amazon) particular site. Go into your passwords & remove/delete the Amazon password & then try signing in to Amazon & it should ask you if you want to save the login & use for auto fill again. That should reset the settings for that particular password. Worth a try

Before i tried all that i Iogged in again today and this time the check box was finally back to stay logged in. It had not been there earlier today but now is back. Hopefully it stays!
Well it didn’t last. Next time it made me log in the stay logged in checkbox was missing again and had to manually enter pw. Oh well perhaps later i will uninstall the app and retry and see if that helps

Not just a few getting the same problem helps even it i guess.
yes does help to hear others have same issue. i just wish the remember me would be there. it is on my laptop but only was the one time on the app in the past few weeks every other time it isn’t so type it in i go… hopefully it will play more nicely for us soon!
