What the Woot!
Adult beverages.
Happy Christmas & Merry New Year to all & to all a good hangover!
Next wine.woot will come back.
Ah, gift certificates. For a second there I thought Woot was letting everyone and anyone buy the good stuff.

Curious if this gift certificate includes shipping. Bevridge charges $13 for shipping on top of their $150 price tag…
A friend recommended this set. He had a previous year set and said the whiskey selections were phenomenal. Excited to try it.
I’m a vendor rep here. Happy to answer any questions.
It includes free shipping, yes.
On the gift card, there are two codes. One for the kit itself and the other for completely free shipping.

Thanks!
21 states that you can’t receive the tasting kit in. Might want to point that out to people from those states.
Normally my state is a bummer state for everything. But apparently since they (the state powers) know of their terribleness, they allow us to receive alcohol…

It is pointed out in the description directly with states listed than can and can not receive the kits. The gift cards ship to any state though, in case one is gifting it or can receive it at a friend or family member.
Tasting kits DO NOT SHIP to the following states: AL, AK, AR, DC, HI, IA, LA, ME, MA, MI, MN, MS, MT, SC, SD, TN, UT, VT, WV, WY, PR
You know… Alabama did pass legislation that allows mail order liquor sales. Y’all just need to fill out the appropriate paper work. Ridiculous, I know, but… GET ON IT! ![]()
This would cost about $41 in actual whiskey poured from 750ml bottles, if you can even get these. Including the shipping at about $13, it is just about an 80% markup to have it curated.
Seems like a pretty good deal if you (or someone you’re shopping for) are looking to do some tasting.
This is the equivalent of 500ML of whiskey across ten varieties without the commitment of having to purchase full size bottles. That’s 2/3 volume of a full bottle and Balcones Texas Single Malt for example retails for about $75. The actual sample glass bottles and gift presentation cost a decent amount as well and then the bottling, licensing fees.
If you’re a fan of whiskey or buying for someone that is, I think this is a good deal.
Bourbon is the most quintessential american whiskey, yet there’s not a single bourbon in here. Was expecting there to be quite a few.
How are they not?
Too bad it’s not whisky.
It’s because the whiskeys in this set are specifically American Single Malts.
Uh I’m confused. If we live in one of the “DO” states for example NC. Do we get a tasting kit, or a gift certificate for a kit?
How is SD on this list!??
