I bet they can, but is it worth the extra time and risk when there are plenty other cars to steal?

For future reference, these things smell horrible. It took 5 days of leaving them outside where they would be exposed to direct sunlight during the day before the smell was tolerable. You definitely won’t be using it right out of the box. The smell alone would be theft deterrent enough.
