I was almost sold on this…then a quick google search found the same model new for 179.99 on B&H photo and other sites…C’mon woot we’re not dumb, give us a real deal…like 119.99 or something…otherwise not worth it…also if these are anything like their refurb vizios…2/2 DOA)run away fast

Comments from a previous sale

Well at least it’s cheaper this time!

I got one of these and have had nothing but trouble with it. The screen flicker is horrible and even a replacement power supply did not fix the problem. Not another AOC for me ever!!!

FWIW…I’ve had two of these for over a year and never had a problem.

I have only ever used 21.5" monitors and under, so I’m really tempted.

Anyone know how easy it is to see pixels? I’ve heard that, since monitors tend to sit a lot closer to your face than TV’s, you want at least 1440p for anything more than 24" and preferably more than that for 27" But those monitors get super expensive, so I don’t know if it’s worth it. Thoughts?

I bought a 27" QHD (the 1440p you mentioned) a while back on Woot for $350, I’ve seen them down to $300 also on Woot. Check back often! It’s worth EVERY penny!!!

I could check when I get home–I have this exact monitor that I bought from Woot a little while ago. I have noticed a fair amount of light bleed on the edges, but for the price, I consider it well worth it.

There has also been some screen flickering from time to time, but I’m thinking it’s my HDMI cable because it seems to only happen when my desk is shaking.

Go to AOC’s website and look up their return policy. Do it now.

Got this last sale, and I like it; but I almost really didn’t. The “reconditioned” one I got hadn’t been inspected at all by anyone more competent than your average monkey, because 1/6th of the backlighting didn’t work. I filed a claim with AOC and they said I’d have to pay shipping back to them before they’d even look at it.

This is their official warranty procedure.

I was able to get escalated high enough up the food chain to get a comped shipping label, determinedly citing such an obvious defect, but I don’t want to deal with that process ever again. If you get one, hope and pray they actually did repair it.

Just my 2 cents.

Bought two of these on amazon a couple days ago. Fantastic monitors. Amazing upgrade from my 21.5" Asus. Loving the double HDMI’s. At this price and if you need one: Buy it.
