I didn’t make the video. Calm down, I was trying to let people know about a thing. You’re acting like I dug up your dog and made a wind chime out of it.
Dug up your dog and made a wind chime out of it.
Thanks for the best laugh I’ve had all week.
That Canuck cop video has inaccuracies in it. (E.g. “it’s magnetic so you can stick it anywhere,” nope AirTags are not magnetically attachable by themselves.) Maybe it’s old. But LE public safety videos can be wrong sometimes, like the widely distributed advice not to leave large electronics boxes at your curb for disposal because thieves will target you. Turned out to be mostly an urban myth.
But seriously, the Apple Leather AirTag Key Ring is nice, though I have found more affordable and durable solutions to keep track of my keys. I bought one to put on a different kind of cord instead of the more easily seen Loops (leather and polyurethane).
So got mine a couple days ago…yes, somewhat expensive, but far superior to the cheap one I had + the yellow makes my keychain just a bit better.
Mother ship had a 4-pack of AirTags for $88. Better than the Apple price of $25 each.
Yes, there’s a temporary price on 4-packs of AirTags for $85ish. IF you have lots of things you want to keep track of, not a bad deal.
Conventional uses you see tons of third party accessories for: key fob, luggage/bag tag, stickups, wallets, wallet inserts (credit card size). Ones I’m fond of: Apple, Spigen white fob (covers stainless steel battery cover), Pelican fob (not quite a rugged, also covers battery cover), Elevation Lab credit inserts (compact and full size for different applications), Elago stickups.
A lot of people claim the Apple snaps aren’t firm or reliable, I call BS. Plenty tough when you snap it CORRECTLY.
