The reviews seem to be for refurb versions, but these are described as new. Seems like a great deal, especially with the case. Is the power adapter Apple-approved?
$200 for “new” 5 year old 32GB iPads is not a good deal. The batteries are likely shot in these and 32GB of storage is not adequate in 2025, and these no longer receive software updates. These are essentially e-waste at this point.
Yeah $200 for 5 year old tech is ridiculous. And agree the battery must be shot or will damage in few months of use.
These do actually still get software updates, but they don’t run well with iOS 18. I had one of these and it ran iOS 18, but not very well.
I just traded it in for the latest A16 iPad a couple of months ago. The A16 iPad is a MUCH better iPad than this one. For the extra $150 you get 4x the storage and a processor that is 4 generations newer… and one that hasn’t been sitting on a shelf for several years.
The battery and storage may be issues, but updates are not. I have the 128Gb version of this iPad and it gets all current updates and runs well. I was thinking the 32 Gb version might be ok for someone who also uses cloud storage.
Wait for some deals we bought iPad 10 for 199 last year during holidays
