If you want a newer device, then the 2017 5th Gen iPad is a good buy at that price. Just keep in mind that the iPad Air is thinner, lighter, and has a fully laminated anti-reflective display.
I’m not sure if I’d buy a new iPad Air right now. Odds are that Apple is going to stop offering iOS updates for it next year.
Besides, you can get a brand new one from Apple for only about $50 more.
This is still a very good model. It runs iOS 12 well and the build is better than the “new” iPads that are out. My daughter has one I passed on to her and it runs like new.
Don’t be a cheap bast@$d !! Go buy a new one for a few bucks extra. You’ll be glad you did.
I couldn’t agree more. Couple of weeks ago I bought an iPad air first generation from woot. It arrived scratched and with a garbage battery. Took it to the Apple Store and Battery showed only a 56% capacity. Saw this “sale” for the Air 2. Went online and found and iPad generation 6 new for $329. Weather Apple certified or not I would be very cautious buying a tablet from Woot.
