What exactly does this mean? I get “used”, but this looks like there never was a user.
If the device is damaged, does Woot say so? Otherwise how can you tell?

This item is “Refurbished; Open Box” meaning it was previously owned, refurbished to working condition, sold by us, returned, tested and now sold as open box.
Yes, it will show some signs of a previous life. What that looks like varies from unit to unit so we don’t have specifics but it’s not listed as scratch & dent, so it’s better than that.
