This is my iPad (256 GB Silver, WiFi only, 2017). Despite being about an inch bigger screen space than the regular iPads, the size of the iPad is still easy to hold up in my hands. The quality of screen is still nicer than a current base iPad or iPad Air, and the 120 Hz screen refresh rate is my first screen that can do that.
This iPad is absolutely amazing with PUBG Mobile or CoD Mobile at max settings, does great for editing 30-minute 4k videos down to 10-minute YouTube videos, and has been a complete laptop replacement for me except I couldn’t download videos from my one of my client’s Microsoft Sharepoint server… other than that, I was able to manage two client’s social media presences with the Sprout app (and I had them upload their videos to Sprout, so yay workarounds), use this as a second productivity screen for those times I was tied to my desktop computer, and enjoy YouTube and Gaming for my entertainment.
I recently woke up to find my current iPad screen is cracked… no idea how, I had lain it on the floor next to my bed the night before, and it hadn’t moved. Shallow cuts to my fingers now, some touch response issues, but I’m grateful for four years of service and survival through backpacks and airports. I would easily choose this model again/deal price over a current iPad Air, but I’m torn between saving money and getting the new iPad Pro with the M1 chip… my head says the 2017 does everything I need and more, but my heart pays more attention to the performance numbers
