I was considering getting the pro max as my next new phone, but I had no idea they were this much more expensive! I may just stick with Pixels until they inevitably copy Apple’s price.
They are pretty much already there. A new 512GB iPhone Pro Max lists for $1,399. A new 512GB Pixel Pro XL lists for $1,319. Pixels are on sale more often because Google is trying to grab market share, but they have a long way to go
Terrible pricing for being limited to a Woot warranty
Save a $100 bucks with no applecare, please you can do better than that. I wouldn’t give up a legitimate warranty for anything less than $200 or $300. How good is the “vendor warranty” anyway?
It’s not a Woot warranty, but one from the vendor.

Pro Max is a great phone, but paying 1599 plus tax (even on the Apple 0% monthly plan) does feel weird - for a phone.
If you need (well…) an upgrade however, this is the only year when waiting till September is not a great idea. Memory and chip manufacturing won’t magically change focus in 2026. I expect prices to be pretty crap (although the usual comments aren’t out yet)…
$50- $100 off for a reconditioned iPhone and not AppleCare eligible?? You can get Apple products refurbished BY APPLE, for around that amount off with full warranty and is AppleCare eligible.

I got the iPhone 15 when woot did the pristine black box sale awhile ago. It’s fine. More than fine. No issues and not having Apple care was fine. That being said, th discount over retail was a bit more than this listing.
Selling a $1800 device and not list any features or spec is wild. I know you can find then online anywhere but still price tag does not match the treatment you get.
No phone is worth this much no matter what it can or cannot do, by the way, isn’t this one of the phones that apple was promoting for having Apple Intelligence ?, which to this date still hasn’t arrived to the potential promised, in fact a $250 Million settlement was just announced against apple for having made claims that prompted consumers to buy their product based on claims they were making, basically false advertising, $95/ per person is the estimated payment, do your own research to find out the details and confirm whether or not you qualify, cheers
