Got mine today. One sealed one not sealed with the battery exploded in the one that was not sealed. The one that is sealed could be new but it also may not be. I am highly suspicious of it. Unfortunately I think they are both used and will be returning them.
Did you activate the intact one to see the battery cycle count? Did you look up the serial number on Apple?
Phone is damaged. Does not hold charge but arrived in original box. Called Woot CS and they offered me a full refund without the need to return it.

No, I opened it, and they both are clearly used. There is no question about it. I didn’t see the need to check anything since there are visible signs it’s used.
