Is the battery new? Have previously bought a refurbished iphone and the battery did not hold a charge very well. Thanks!
The warranty service phone number in the product description leads to a business in Astoria, NYC which gets amazingly shady reviews. What kind of suppliers are you affiliating with, Woot? 718-472-3800 - Google Search
I have bought two of these iPhone 6’s from Woot, all shipping from the Astoria, NY address. The first one was back in September. 64GB, works perfectly. The second I bought for my daughter for Christmas. Working perfectly. They both had tiny stickers on the bottom screw so I assume they have been opened for a repair (battery, button, screen?) but they work like new and are not scratched or dented. I also bought a Galaxy 5 for my son in August from same vendor, Woot auction, and it works great. Two of these 3 were unlocked, one was not, but all are running on ATT at this point. The Galaxy 5 was a T-Mobile phone.
A little help, please. These almost always say, “Compatible with T-Mobile & AT&T,” and list no other carriers. Yet the “Will this phone work with my carrier? Let’s find out! CLICK HERE”-link does seem to suggest that some of these phones will work on Verizon. Feedback, anyone? Can anyone confirm? And if so, why are only T-Mobile and AT&T listed?
GSM phones are compatible with Verizon’s 4G LTE network, however they are NOT compatible with Verizon’s 3G (or prior) networks and will not work if you happen to wander outside of a 4G LTE coverage area…
What was the condition of the screens of these phones?
All batteries will be tested to make sure they function within acceptable standards. Some will be replaced.
Screens were perfect. Of the 3 I bought, one has a “clicky” button. It works fine but makes a little noise every so often.
I must have had bad luck. Bought one of these about a month or so ago. Screen was scratched pretty bad, gunk (makeup?) in the speaker, speaker itself was damaged as I could barely hear audio at any level, and the lower part of the screen was loose and would move in the housing when pressed. I sent it back and unfortunately that soured any future refurb phone purchase from Woot.
Anyone had a problem connecting to the ATT network? I’ve had 2 different SIM cards installed and activation attempts, but no luck. In place of the ATT notification in the upper left, I continually see “Searching…”
