What does GSM Mean? I have AT&T service
AT&T uses bands 2, 4, 5, 12 & 17. So this phone will work fine with AT&T. The biggest problem is that it’s loaded with the Verizon software. Probably get some Verizon apps, logos and they may control the OS updates.
that article says Verizon uses CDMA, but the phone listing says it GSM. I’m confused.
It’s a Verizon phone unlocked for GSM. Most phones are now built with both technologies included and it’s a matter of which one is unlocked.
Is this correct? If so, can the Verizon apps and logos be removed?
