Apple iPhone SE (Your Choice)(S&D)

Apple iPhone SE (Your Choice)(S&D)

The last time Woot listed an IPhone SE I ordered one and got a IPhone 6S. I returned it. Explanation was that the item should have been listed as an IPhone 6S not SE. Woot - do you have it irhg this time.

Hi there. Yes, these are SE. Sorry for the problem last time.

Hi, does GSM mean locked? If locked, is it AT&T or T-mobile?

Yep.

can these be used as an ipod touch if they are not activated with a carrier?

Just to confirm, these are NOT the new 2020 releases, correct?

No, they are not.

Yes, most definitely.

I thought the SE was the new 2020 IPhone. If they are not the 2020 release, what are they?

SE 1st gen.

It’s nice these SE’s report a battery health within the Apple IOS. One reports itself as 78% and the other reports itself as 80%. Is this the same way the battery is checked before qualifying for sale?

Hello. I’m sorry, but I don’t have that info.

If these come around again, it might be a good idea for woot to provide which three models they are. I took a gamble based on what I found online, and I’m glad I did. All the ones I received from this order are A1662’s and Apple tech data says they support CDMA.

It appears only one model does not provide CDMA (A1724), but that being said, in my experience, CDMA with Sprint is usually not entirely effective with CDMA on Verizon without some extra effort. It is very clear that Sprint and Verizon have unique first edition iPhone SE models.

Of the units I received, one for sure is Verizon (32GB Space Gray Verizon MP8K2LL/A) and the other is listed as SIM-free (32GB Silver Unlocked MP7U2LL/A). Both tested perfectly with my MVNO on Verizon (w00t w00t); however, I now have prevalent LTE in my area, so if the CDMA is honkered up in these units for some reason, despite what the specs indicate, I probably won’t know until I visit a rural community.
