It was immensely popular because of the watch-factor, but Apple killed that feature by changing it back to the candy-bar form factor the following generation. Then, mysteriously, the Apple Watch was announced.
Huh… how about that.
I don’t think the 6th generation supports bluetooth so if you’re looking to pair it with bluetooth earbuds ie. for the gym, keep looking. I got a 7th generation in Dec here for about the same money.
