Apple Lightning to USB Cable - 3 Pack

DO NOT BUY THESE. They will work for a week or two, and that’s it. Woot is being dishonest by continuing to sell them.

I agree, mine stopped working also after about two weeks!!

I’ll third that. Mine didn’t work, either. Noe did the Apple chargers I bought from Woot a few months back. I notified Woot of the problem, but they never responded. I am growing very leery of Woot - it is certainly not living up to Amazon’s standards.

I just received from Amazon two 6 foot AmazonBasic Lightening/USB cables. They are Apple certified and were 7.99 each. With the comments I see above, I’m not sorry I got them before this Woot came up.

While these are only 3.3 ft, it would be a great deal for a “made by Apple” product… if they held up. But how can they be crap if it’s actually an Apple product? Hmmm…

I’d never buy Apple Lightening cables on woot or any of the links from woot, ever again. I got three once that simply never worked. Waste of time and money

I have never had a failure of an Apple Lightning cable or apple charger (going back many years), but I have never bought any from Woot. Perhaps they are selling returns or refurbished.

The Amazon Basics cables I bought have a 100% failure rate witth the cable jacket separating from the connector. I fixed them, but the Anker cables are much better.

I bought a 3 pack as well and all are broken. I don’t think I got 4 months out of them.

Read all the small print, in context of the reviews where these cables have a high failure rate. Real, genuine Apple cables haven’t failed me, other than when crushed…
Anker cables are best, I’ve given the braided ones as gifts, even, and they often go on Lightning or other Amazon sales. Their products are really good, with great support after the sale. (Not shilling for them, though I wouldn’t say no to free stuff or an emolument).

There are a lot if negative comments about previous sales, but this one states a one year apple warranty. Doesn’t that mean that these were manufactured by Apple?

Selling these again with the repeated complaints suggests that woot is indeed 100% about the dollars with no care about its customers.

Buy a diff brand instead at amazon. I bought them and very happy. There are 4 of them, 800 reviews at 4.5 stars and they have no issues. And they’re $8.

This is all that matters.

“bulk packaging”

Apple has never, ever, sold anything in bulk packaging as long as I can remember.

Apple is too image conscious to do that.

Most likely, these are what is known as “grey” market products. The factory in China that makes the authentic Apple cables probably sells the ones that don’t pass inspection as “Apple” cables in “bulk packaging”.

I bought these because it was advertised as an Apple product. I just plugged it into my iphone and was alerted that it was not certified and wouldn’t work.

FAKE, don’t buy.
