These cords show up constantly on Woot and there are several well documented cases of these cords not working. If these cables have such a high failure rate, and from the comments on here, it seems to be a real possibility, people being cautious about what they’re buying certainly seems reasonable.
Here’s the bigger question: who pissed in your cereal this morning?
I had exact same issue. These are not genuine, they are poor quality, and did not work for us. I tried on various devices- incuding original Apple Mini, iphone 5s, iphone 5c and iphone 6.
Woot gave me a refund but clearly they are NOT apple and intended to make you believe they are.
I purchased these “Apple” Lightning to USB Cables and they arrived without incident. However, when I try to actually use these cables, they are NOT Apple products and DO NOT WORK. What a waste of money and time! Don’t buy this.
