Does this one monitor sleep?
Do you need an Apple phone, Apple tablet to run it?

At the very least, you need an Apple device to set it up.

Yes you do I have a apple 6 series and I have all apple products except phone and I can’t use the watch. Also from what I have read no more update have been done or stopped at series 3 watch . So just double check that before you buy.
