We own a couple of these. There are a lot of things to like about the sprayer. The hose is easier to connect because it is off the ground and tilted. We purchased it for the mister to use during hot days outside. We also use it for lawn watering. My only hesitation is it is larger than other watering dispensers and there are little parts that might be easy to lose.
TLDR: Generally recommended. Not the best price seen on Woot. Suggest to place weights/bricks on the feet during use.
I got one of these a year ago on Woot (for $13!). I like it. Lots of different spray options. Since the head is raised above the ground it does better avoiding low obstructions (bushes/shrubs, plants, yard decorations, etc).
I did have a problem when it tipped over and sprayed directly into the ground for a white, digging a trench. The leg spikes aren’t enough to keep it reliably grounded, so now I put weights (usually a brick) on the feet.
CORRECTION/UPDATE:
Turns out what I got a year ago (at nearly half this price) was a slightly different model. I bought the “Aqua Joe AJ-6PSTB-MAX HD”. This one is the “Aqua Joe AJ-6PSTB-XL” Mine has a height of 28” to 42.2” for a coverage area of up to 4,100 sq ft. This one is taller with a height of 37.5" to 51.7" for a coverage area of up to 4,900 sq ft.
Other than they, they look the same.
