Working for the USPS, you should know that not all mailboxes are approved for postal delivery. Definitely check with your local Post Office and/or Postmaster before buying and installing.
Do I take it from your advice that the feature statement:
Postmaster General approved
is not enough to ensure this is USPS approved? Thanks for the advice! --CK
Just to let everyone know, Lowes online has these same Bellevue mailboxes, just not in these exact finishes, for $60. Not sure how these prices are justified at all.
Not the same manufacturer. The $59 ones look a lot cheaper.
These are the same as W00t’s: http://www.lowes.com/pd_258955-64152-5505B_0__?productId=1073771#BVRRWidgetID
And they cost $226.
Looks like a good deal. The cheapest online price I could find was $196.
You rock.
How does your email get into one of these things… and how are you supposed to read it from here? I don’t see a screen or any type.
Please help
You have to buy the wifi dongle for that (sold separately, of course), though I guess you could just run twisted pair.
The post mount mailboxes are USPS approved, wall mount mailboxes are not required to be approved. You do want to check with your local post office to confirm height requirements.
There are different models of Bellevues, some with powder coated aluminum frames and others with ABS frames.

Welcome back! Could you introduce yourself so Wooters know you’re an official rep?
Would it be possible to get a spreader with my order? My HOA requires one stand for every two houses.
Thank you

Also, for the posts, do the inner stake need to be cemented in, or would in ground be sturdy enough, how deep does it go into the ground? My HOA doesn’t like cemented in mail posts.
It’s a mailbox for goodness sakes. Why would anyone pay that much money for a mailbox???
$19.95 max. They still deliver mail to my plastic bucket hanging on a nail after the local hooligans blew mine up several years ago.
oh ya know, because some people care about how the front of their house looks like. crayzay i know.
You wonder about necessity versus the “oooh - I want that” factor. Did you go to the right website? This IS woot.
