Arsenal Tool Bags

Kind of tempted to use one of these for my knitting/crocheting supplies.

What a bunch of toolbags…

Should I buy one. Crap in one and send it back to woot???
It will be a reverse_bag_o_crap.
Bag of crap

You stole my joke. Give it back!

Sorry, I couldn’t resist. Maybe you can come up with a “dumber than a bag of hammers (hammers not included)” joke.

Lotsa bags for bottoms. What about tops?

That’s an interesting idea. I am always losing my crochet hooks and knitting needles. I wonder if woot can show an interior of the inside pockets.

sears has photos

I am thinking this could be a wonderful travel bag. Enough room for the stuff I use over a weekend, and sturdy.
The largest is prob not too large for a carry on . I wonder how much they weigh and I wish there were some shots of the interiors.

Behold images of interiors compliments of Sears.

I was thinking that the one with 13 pockets would be a good diaper bag. But how will these do in the washing machine?

I really don’t think these are designed to be run through a washing machine…with the leather bottoms and all, and who runs tool boxes through the wash anyway? I can see that these would be good for crafting supplies – I see some knitters and I am a jewelry designer and covet these for tools and supplies, if I could just figure out which one would be best! but if you want something you can keep clean for baby I would look elsewhere.

Am I wrong or does this site offer interior views on only half the models, with exteriors on the other half? Why can’t they post both views for each setup? This is just too much information to sift through with the small differences among each product… I will just stick to my “ladies’ tool bag”, you can see a pic here:

that are a little bit on the small size if I want to pack ALL of my tools but they are great for bringing along supplies for several projects if I want to work on them away from home. Since I got two sets at a 2-for-1 (that would be 4 total), I think I still have an empty one around somewhere… Those who want something for knitting or crocheting, I suggest you keep on the lookout for these. I use one for an overnight/toiletries bag as well. Very sturdy lots of pockets and adjustable to accommodate different-sized items. I love them, and I think they may still be available through sellout but I am not terribly woot-savvy so maybe someone else could find an answer to that?

What are the tool buckets for? What are they designed to latch onto?

Usually you would use it to hook onto a rope to pull it up to the roof or up a ladder. Can also use it to hook onto a ladder underside or a carabiner on your belt if your belt/pants are sturdy enough.

We dug up some photos of the leather-bottom bag interiors so you can see all the pockety goodness. Nothing worth photographing inside the PVC-bottom bags, according to our resident pocketologist.

These tool buckets are used by industrial electricians and linemen. They latch onto a D ring while working from a bucket truck or arial lift.

Do they have anything by Dooney & Bourke? Looking for something to tote my LhasaShitzu.

Arsenal tool bags? How about some Manchester United tool bags!
